Cycloramic App Review [VIDEO]

I got so freakin’ excited when I saw this app on Shark Tank a few weeks ago. I bought it immediately and have been playing with it because I knew instantly it would be something I had to share with you.

Cycloramic App Review

Cycloramic is an app that allows you to take panoramic photos with iPhone 5/5S HANDS FREE. I’m not even joking.

Because the phone has the ability to stand upright, with the right surface there has been technology worked into the app to recognize how to use the vibration function to turn the phone on its own and get a seamless panoramic photo. You can choose any length that you like, from 90 degrees to 360. And you can even get an end product of a video if you’d rather have that format than a photo.

Think about all the industries that need to cover more area when taking photos, such as real estate. I love this app because of the conversation that’s been brought to light because panoramic photos are possible on most phones (hands free is of course a different story) but brands are really taking advantage of them. There’s so many opportunities to use them and give the audience another experience for behind the scene sharing, but it’s just not seen as often.

With such a cool way of taking the photo, it really makes you think about the ways you could be taking advantage of this technology and give your network a cool visual from your social feeds. How could you use panoramic photos?

Sorry for the limited post as this is not a possible feature on Android, although you can still download the app if you want to take a pano the old fashioned way. It’s $0.99 in the App Store and worth every penny in my opinion. I’m having so much fun with it (as you can see below at Starbucks lol)!

I saw the guy on Shark Tank. I read that within 24 hours of that show airing, his app had 150,000 downloads...at $2 a pop, that's some scratch right there.
