Thanks to Fabio for this question on the YouTube channel. It’s good to get some new resources in your mix so let’s do it.

“I’m wondering whether or not you’ve made a video about interesting marketing blogs. I’m a bit too lazy when it comes to finding decent marketing content. I’m still stuck with Hubspot’s blog. Can you point out a few of your favorite marketing/digital marketing blog?

Marketing and Business Blog Recommendations

First thing is first. It’s easy to get into a rut if you don’t have a proper place to organize your blog subscriptions. Make sure you sign up for a service like Feedly or Flipboard so you can have a place to go when you’re in need of some education. Otherwise, just going to the URLs you remember will be a good way to stay in a rut.

My favorite social media marketing resource is definitely Social Media Examiner. There is so much value pumping out of that site and Mike Stelzner has done an amazing job of taking it this far in such a short amount of time. You’ll learn everything you need to know when it comes to social media trends and what you need to know to implement for your business.

I also really like Small Biz Trends. This is a great business resource that incorporate some marketing information as well but a good way to make sure you’re covering your bases in many areas of the business. I refer to this one a lot when I’m questioning calls that I need to make.

Another great blog I tune into is MarketingProfs. This is resource for the all over marketing thinking, rather than just digital. You should be thinking of all these things in the big picture anyway so check out this blog to get an understanding of how all the pieces of the marketing pie work together.

I’d also like to mention a new platform I discovered recently called ShareBloc. It’s very new but I like the Reddit style that is has in being able to subscribe to different industries and the users vote up the best content that you should check out. Really good idea and I look forward to the future for this platform.
