So I was helping make some videos with my friend Anthony Iannarino last week and I thought I would steal him to share some of his amazing insights with my socials for Savvy Tuesday. Let me tell you. I made sure to express how important it is that we help you get on a good page of selling yourself and your business to your potential clients by helping you gain that confidence that you may have a hard time with in the early stages.
You may know your business but getting into a seller’s mindset is a whole other thing and Anthony has given you the best advice of how to get your head right about creating value rather than just providing a service.
One of my favorite things he asked a Ohio Growth Summit this year as he was doing his opening keynote was what people’s perceptions were of salespeople and how negative the response was, and then having him ask how many people have a parent that is a salesperson. No one is going to say that their mom or dad is a sleazy sales chump!
Being in the sales mindset is nothing more than thinking about how better you can help the people you already want to help with your product. It’s about overloading them with the value they need and you can provide, becoming a much more appealing option than your competitors.
