Likealyzer: A Facebook Page Grading Tool [VIDEO]

Since Facebook continues to be a bit of a pain when it comes to reaching your audience effectively (yes, even the people who already liked your page… they’re pretty tough to get in front of these days) I thought I would share a tool I learned about recently that will help you up your game when it comes to sharing content on the network.

Likealyzer: A Facebook Page Grading Tool

Likealyzer is a website that allows your to type in your Facebook brand page URL so that it can analyze and give you an assessment of how you have been using it an determine what you can be doing better and what you’ve been doing really well to effectively reach your audience. It’s not only good to know what to improve, but what you’ve been doing right which is why I like this tool.

Analyze your Facebook page - Likealyzer

The only thing I’m hesitant about is that you get a failing grade in one part of the assessment if you don’t have enough fans according to their standards and I want you to know that it’s important to keep in mind that it’s not about that number alone (I definitely talk about this in my metrics that don’t matter video), but the ratio of which they connect with you when you share updates. If you have millions of fans and no one (relatively speaking) replies when you update, you know you’ve done a terrible job targeting that audience and they aren’t actually of any value to your brand.

However it does have some other really useful metrics like engagement rate — how many times are you posting versus how often are people responding in some way. It also looks at how many characters you’re typing in each update. Are you writing a novel when you should really be sticking with that 140-character, Twitter-level share? Also nice to know is whether you’re timing your posts well so you have a greater chance of reaching your audience. Not sure the ideal time for Likealyzer is good for your audience so keep that in mind.

Share your thoughts on your results when you try Likealyzer and leave them in the comments. Would love to know if you think this is a useful tool for your social marketing measurement.

Advice for Branding on Social Images

First off, thank you for this site. I checked out the site and am pretty happy with the results. The areas I struggle in are areas I know I don't pay enough attention to, so no surprises for me!

I would agree that the get more likes is not as important as working and engaging the likes you already have.

So, what was you score!!??

@ChadEver Totally agree. I think once you see it you're like "yeah that makes sense"

@ChadEver I think mine was a 76. I definitely don't have as amazing of a Facebook presence as I might have in other places, but the things I need to work on make sense for their terms.
