My Vlogging Camera [VIDEO]

Equipment is a question I get a lot, as it should be. If you don’t have the right tools it’s hard to effectively execute. Especially in video blogging. Now, I’m not suggesting that you can’t vlog with your phone, handheld video camera or anything else (because EVERYTHING seems to be able to record video these days), but I’m sharing my vlogging camera choices so you can determine whether they would be a good option for you.

Canon PowerShots have always been very reliable cameras for me. I originally had one just as a digital camera in college and when I started using the video feature I noticed that the footage was very fluid and basically flawless (other than not being HD). So I’ve only bought these kinds of camera since because they are affordable, reliable, fantastic quality and, best of all, easy to carry around in my purse.

I'm really impressed with the audio and lighting, they both are really good. It must be really quiet in your bed room because I don't hear much background noise.

@chrismfry I usually try to edit the noises out by pausing when a loud car or truck goes by. I get a TON of ambulances and buses. So annoying. But everything seems to be working out okay with the built in mic. Thanks for saying!
