How to Make Your Product More Social [VIDEO]

Posting about your product seems to be a natural thing to do as a business because it’s what you really want people to know about. But just pushing it out there without a more strategic plan to get people to understand why they should care about it isn’t going to get you anywhere.

So going hand in hand with a blog post I shared earlier this week about the Kardashians and how they use social media to promote their brand, today we’re talking about how to make your product more social:

How to Make Your Product More Social

1) Show it in action

There’s no better way to talk about your product than to show it off while it’s working. Whether it’s a physical product or your consulting services, it’s still something you can flaunt. These are the times when it’s appropriate to share socially because it’s a part of your everyday life that people want to learn more about.

2) Humanize your product

Remember the Oreo that could still dunk in the dark after the Super Bowl lights went out? That’s a brilliant way of incorporating your brand into a conversation that may not be totally aligned, but humanize to help you talk about things that are relevant and happening.

3) Show off your fans

It’s always social when a fan or advocate of yours is talking about your product with their network and you can share their experience with others. Never forget to take advantage of those moments. Make those fans love you even more by engaging their posts.
