This month is all about kicking off your blogging year right. And since we’re always stressing the importance of an editorial calendar, I thought what better way to help you get started than to give you one to use immediately and for free. Here is your 2013 editorial calendar template:

Instructions:
1. When you open the document in Google Docs, you won’t be able to edit. Save a copy for yourself so you can have it for your files
2. Print the document and add dates and special occasions/holidays as they may be relevant for your blog
3. Keep the calendar close by so when you have an idea for a post, the calendar is waiting for you to schedule it
4. You’ll notice I left a ‘Notes’ section. I didn’t want to be specific here because everyone is different, but this is where I would put things to keep in mind like areas of focus that are important for the month, topic ideas, or themes I haven’t done in awhile that I should try to incorporate.
